Used to be a modded Evo?
i say take some pictures of as many things as you can and upload them on here so we can diagnose what was there and post up your ROM in case youre tuned for something that you do not have for the car
Sorry to hear about the holes in the trunk, may have had a dry nitrous kit at some point. Check compression (as stated previously), the car still may be fine, and also get it retuned.

Also I really wouldn't be to concerned if the original owner was running meth, many are with no problems. Like stated above do a compression test and see where you stand but DEF hook up the stock BCS or run wastegate pressure until you can say for sure the car is running great. You can't feel whats going on and I would hate to see you have rebuild shortly after purchasing
it will be fine probably, you know it sucks not knowing exactly what was done to your car before you get it.Its klike having a girlfriend and then finding out she already slept with your friends neighbor, boss and enemy. If it was a meth kit maybe the guy before you was super safe.
def a meth kit. like the other guy said be careful could be tuned from something u dont have. get urself a tactrix cable (if you dont have one already) and downloiad the map and post here so these guys can help u out
I think everyone is making this into a bigger deal than necessary. Check your compression. The car is more than likely fine. If nothing else the meth probably cleaned the carbon out
Get a boost guage on the car ASAP to make sure it is at a safe level also.
I do not think that there is anything "shady" about it, if it was a used car at a dealership. They have no way in knowing what was done to the car. More than likely they don't even know much about the common mods done to Evos. Anyone buying a used Evolution needs to accept the fact that the car was ran hard. Grandma didn't buy this, drive it back and forth to church on Sundays, and trade it in for something with better gas mileage. The only way you will ever have a car you know the FULL history on is ordering a brand new one and find a dealer that will contact you as soon as it comes off of the truck, even before it gets its pre-delivery inspection.

I dont remember my stock fuel pump making any noise. I have an 05 but I think the fuel pump stayed the same from the 03. I can sometimes hear my walbro fuel pump whine so I think its been replaced.
Did you say you saw a boost controller? If thats the case, the previous owner probably just lowered the boost after removing the meth/alcohol injection kit. With regards to safety, as the others have advised; get the compression checked and see if your engine is healthy.
If your engine is good, either
a)get a tactrix cable and show the tuners on this forum your map
and/or
b)get a new tune to be on the safe side.
You obviously dont have a stock map because of the raised rev limit and two step. Alcohol/meth maps are very lean. From some of the tunes Ive read about on here, the meth/alcohol injection usually starts around 15psi. Anything above that you'll be running lean. Be easy on the car until you can confirm any of the speculation. Congrats on the evo and good luck
Oh, if you have evo meets in your area, thats a good place to look for the guys that can look over you car and see whats been modded. Without paying a $65/hr shop fee.
Hell I do this for fun whenever I see a parked evo. "Hey! what are you doing under my car?!!"
