My local dealer had my fronts changed out a couple of months ago and it just so happens that I had my rears changed out today. I have 48,000 and they know my car is modified. Keep trying other dealers. Good Luck.

If you have access to compressed air at a shop and an air nozzle...

just blow at the caliper where the clear is peeling and get off as much as you possibly can. Spray off the caliper with brake cleaner. Then get a heat gun and lightly heat the caliper. Spray on some high temp clear coat, and re heat with the heat gun. I did ALL 4 of my calipers this way (4 coats), and they look better than factory pieces. Took me all of 15 minutes per caliper.

I have the same problem and I have a IX.. Im geting ready to take mine in to see bout warranty. unlike you though my brake setup is still stock. I have it happening on all four calipers ! Sucks . you try to keep your car nice and looking good and something stupid like this happens ! HA !!!
