Too good to be true?

Well, i got bored and was looking on autotrader and came across this:

2003 Evo 8 for $7900

And another 03 for $7000 with less than 10k miles. i cant find the ad again but i emailed the guy (eddie_yiplm01@msn.com) and he gave me a BS response at first without answering my questions but after telling him i wouldnt be interested without a VIN atleast he sent me that, JA3AH86C96U043085. the ad said it was in miami which perked my interests at first but now he says the car is in Houston.

Anyone have any experience with buying online or know of these two cars/people as being earlier scammers? or anyone that wouldnt mind going out to inspect a car at either location if i find it to be legit? I still dont see how either of these sales would be real, If its too good to be true, it usually isnt.

yeah a friend of mine was looking to get into an evo recently and saw that...I told him the same thing...SCAM, there's no way a good condition/clear title evo is going for that.

it is proly sitting as a shipping yard in england, germany, china or some crap. and you will have to pay the 7k up front before anything esle.

Move on, too good to be true is usually a scam.

I find the hood with the "intake air scoop" on the wrong side of the car hilarious.
