Well it's more available to young drivers, cheaper, can mod it, 2 door....all add up to a higher insurance premium, usually.

Hey, don't make it sound like its a bad thing.

The less that insurance think of Evos as a "street racer" or "race car", the lower our insurance premiums are going to be.

I'm just glad high school kids aren't able to afford Evo's on thier own. Imagine the insurance...... 500 bucks a month. That would be more than my current car payment.

A great correlation between average age of owner on each list to the list that they are on

Doubt it, my evo is about 8 bux more a month than my 2000 honda civic was. And its cheaper than my Honda Passport. Full coverage.

You know what I find crazy? The fact that the SRT4 peon didn't make that list. I have only met one srt4 owner (out of 15-20) that wasn't a complete and utter douchebag on the road.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it's just a lancer or maybe they're catogerirzed in the same group.

But, looking at all the insurance threads, it does make sense that it would be that much.

They also take into consideration theft not just accidents. I am pretty sure that all those cars on the top list are stolen more often.
