Another Small Problem

Hey guys,

I just finished installing my new turbo kit, and everything came out very well except for one thing.

When I orignally took the turbo out, I could not get the o2 sensor to budge, so I took it to autozone as they are usualy pretty helpful. Well I got there, the guy stuck it in a vice, and got it out with an impact, but he broke the end connector in the process, so now the car runs, but like **** because I dont know the right location for the wires. What should I do? A new o2 is like $419!!

Find a used one here in the forsale section. Look in the part outs.

02 sensors are cheaper from the Autobone, or whereever, but in most cases they are universal style o2 sensor and you have to cut and splice the wires anyway......

your other option is to figure out the correct location for the wires and wire them direct. The two black wires are both ground and the orientaion does not matter, I do not know the pin order of the plug off the top of my head, but I sure you can find it on here somewhere.

If he broke the sensor, you will need a new one. Did the sensor break or just the wires attached to it?

the plastic clip broke, everything else is fine. I just called and had a heart-to-heart with the manager there. He appologized, and now I'm getting an OEM replacement one free of charge :-)

One of the guys said something about VolksWagen having and using the same sensors, I'm not sure about this info, but you can ask them
