Unhappy New mods Maney problems

Hey guys, I just bought some mods for my evo currently am running the mods I have in my signature and I just got a FMIC, O2 housing, wideband, and cosi cams.

First I got the cams , opened them and found out that the intake cams is broken in half, I contacted the vendor that sold me the cams, and thankfully they are sending me the intake cams as we speak.

Anyway installed the FMIC and O2 housing, took the car out for a drive, then I heared a loud turbo noise and the boost is spiking very high, tuned the boost all the way down and it's still going very high.

I searched the forum for the noise that the turbo is making, and found that it might be a boost leak, did a boost leak test but nothing was leaking, did some runs with a friend to try and hear, where exactly it's coming from, and it's like coming from the turbo, so we're thing of checking the O2 housing.

As for the wideband well, first we connected it and it gives us an E 2 every time, also did a search in the forum and found out that it is a grounding problem, connected the ground, and it's working now, but after the heating it show a E 8, checked the mean and it says it's a damaged sensor.

Am going to our VW dealer and try to see if they sell the sensor, am going to buy it a try it.

the problem now is the noise that the turbo makes is it normal, or there is something wrong with the turbo?

Am really frustrated now and I don't know what to do, please help me out.

You probably didn't install the O2 housing right and it is blowing exhaust out. Or your intercooler has a hole in it...

The boost being higher with the O2 housing is normal. Just turn it down.

If you are missing a bolt from the 02 to the DP then it will leak. That's prob where the noise is coming from.Or you can do a boost leak test.

First thing you need to is get that Nut on there.
At boost you will get a huge exhaust leak if thats not tight.

And is it just me or does it look like there is NO gasket in between 02 and DP?
Kinda hard to see in that pic.
What brand of 02 housing is that?

Next thing, are you sure you turned MBC down and not up?
And you might need to take it apart and check the spring and lube it good.
Are you using the heavy spring?

I'm trying to touch all the bases here since i cant see it for myself.
Anybody else care to chime in?

just got back from the garage, and guess what the stiuped mechanice didn't connect the boost controller hose to the LICP, since I got the BR deluxe FMIC that comes with a LICP, he left it like it is, and the car is boosting very high, if am not mistaken the thats the issue unless theres something eles.

Tomorrow am going to check everything the O2 housing the MBC and the FMIC, and try to find the problem am going to another guy and he might help me out.

As for the windeband, I just got a new sensor and it's still giving me E 8, I did the calabration, and still it's showing E 8.

I got the O2 housing from BR, and yes we got the gasket on, am going to try and get a nut and but it on the O2 housing.

please keep these comment coming am trying everything here to fix the car.

just got back from the garage, and guess what my stuiped mechanice didn't connect the BC hose to the LICP, since i got the BE deluxe FMIC with the LICP, he did't connect it, and left is as it is, and i think that the noise that its making its from the high boost that the car is making, if am not mistaking.

Tomorrow am going to check everything the O2 housing, the FMIC, and the MBC, and clean it.

As for the wideband, I got a new sensor and it's still giving me E 8, I did the calabration and everything but it's still showing E 8, could it be the LC-1 is faulty?

I got the BR O2 housing, and yes we did connect the gasket.

keep these comment coming guys, am trying everything to fix the car, thanks for everything.

If the MBC is not connected then your wastegate will never open. That means the turbo will keep building boost until its mechanical limit and that is bad. Too much boost and too much heat. Get that connected and your spikes should go away.

Finally fixed the boost spike, it's all because of that stuiped mechanice that thinks he know everything, now the boost controller side port is connected to the wastegate, and the other side to the BOV with a T fitting, now its boosting.

The mechanice was going to connect the hose to the upper intercooler pipe, by welding a niple and stick it there, I just drove away with out saying anything.

Monday am going to get some nuts for the O2 housing, and check all of the FMIC pipeing.

As for the wideband actually I don't know what to do with it, any help please

You don't need nuts for the O2 housing. The flange is threaded.
