Thanks,

and now on with the show.

Well guys hate to do it but im selling my 03 evo VIII. hopefully trading it in but its not looking good right now. Went to the dealership today and they offered me 12k!! It only has 51k miles on it and is really good shape. They ran a carfax on it and it has a very minor damage report(which is less then $1000 worth of damage) from the previous owner in the rear of the car. Thats the reason they said their not gonna give me anything for it. But the car is flawless cant tell it was ever in a fender bender. what do you guys think about a value on this????

i guess that you can get betwen 15k to17k on a private sell

good luck with sellig the car

Ok, so I got in a little accident last Wednesday in my IX MR. So now I want to sell this car like it sits. It will come with a Salvaged Title. So, what can I sell this car for as it sits. The buyer can even come drive it before they buy it.

2006 EVO MR
49,000 miles.
only mod, ACT clutch and flywheel (less than 2,000 miles ago )
Drives great still.
Had to cut the muffler off since it was hitting the rear control arm.
Extensive damage in the rear.
Some damage up front.
Drivetrain, suspension and brakes are perfect.
Interior is in great shape, no airbags deployed.
255 Falken Azenis Tires.
All the wheels have curb rash.

The car that hit me.

Thanks for the help people!

if it is street-legal(can be registered in the states), top dollar! if not, as good as a used mirage.

Because the front end is smashed.

It's a salvaged because the Insurance Totaled it out.

A Salvage title makes its value worth a lot less. A repaired vehicle with a salvage title in its history might be worth $18K in this market. Most people don't realize this but a car with a salvage title can not be registered. Their is a hassle factory in dealing with slavage titled vehicles, especially if you don't deal with them regularly.

Some states are different than other, but for MA salvage title need to be reinspected before the title can be reconstructed and the major part used for the repair need have receipts from legitmate business (ie it cost more money and private sales aren't going to fly). If was pricing your car to buy, I would do $18K - less $2-3K for Salvage hassle less the cost of reapirs.

Would you ladies and gents say that an IX MR with 18k miles for around 23 grand is a good deal right now? (considering the car is in good shape overall). Please let me know your opinions. Thanks!

Flipping cars in the economy is about the worst thing to try to do. Youd have to buy that sucker for roughly 12g's (impossible) to make any money at this time.
