How much is my Evo worth? Mega merge.
sounds like your problem with the 3 acd lights being on and it taking some effort to start could be either your tps is on its way out and/or your injector scaling could possibly off as well
I suggest you lighten up a bit since you're the one that came in this thread asking for other peoples opinions

The only reason I mentioned this "issue" was because it was something I wasn't aware of when purchasing the car and it kind of threw me off. After doing some research and learning more about it, and that not much can be done, I just let it go. This issue has apparently been fixed with the V2 AEM boxes. That is why everyone is so excited about them!As far as lightening up, sorry if I got defensive when someone puts down my car and calls it a POS that's only worth $10k. That is offensive to me. I'm sure you could understand that when someone puts something down that you've put a lot of money and time into, it could upset you. I listed the issues with the car to get a FAIR assessment of sale price. I think you could agree that knocking $10k off of book value is a little extreme.
Carry on!

The car takes long to start due to an inherent hardware issue with the MIVEC trigger disc and AEM box. It's a problem on every single IX with an AEM. Spend some time in the AEM sub forums a bit and you will find that the issue has been covered multiple times. David Buschur had also commented several times about the frustrations of trying to get them to start as nicely as the non MIVEC engines. The car has been tuned by both Chris Black at AMS and DB at Buschur. There is nothing wrong with the tune. Maybe those guys don't know what they are doing though.

As far as repairing the few problems, assuming you could perform the work yourself, you aren't looking at much money at all. Valve stem seals are $60, used ACD pumps are $250, a seal to fix the oil leak, cheap as well. That's about it to make the car 100% perfect. My problem is TIME. A 6 year old daughter and 9 month pregnant wife leaves me with with no time for the car. All of these problems will be addressed in due time. I hope to hell this fall.

don't forget you're on the INTORNETZ so you shouldn't take things too seriously or you might end up hurting yourself
if I personally was a interested buyer of your car I would probably give you $22k or so with the given issues I personally don't mind fixing some issues but others might see it as a big deal and wouldn't want to deal with it, I also don't remember anyone saying your car was a pos worth $10g's either.....

I just bought my HTA Green'd Evo 8 with 100K for $9500. The car runs and drives nicely (with a little love from Alfred at Tuning Technologies).
I turned down a similar car for 10K that didn't have the HTA Green + mods.
