How much is my Evo worth? Mega merge.
I need a couple quick responses... i am looking at buying a 2006 ix mr graphite grey... it has a 5 speed swap and i beleive it cuase insurance company says it is an mr and vin says it is an mr but it is nearly flawless... with TBE, Intake, thats it... it has 48,8XX miles on it and he is asking 26500 total. What do you guys think? i am thinking like 24k!
edit... i bought my SE a year ago and paid 28000 so i dont know what to do? i would keep both and use my SE for race and MR for fun and a rare driver

Guys i am new here and i really need some advice from the veterans. I've been following evo's since evo II back in the days. I was born in Dominican Republic, evo's there is like Civics here. I currently reside in the states been a USMARINE well over 9 years and now after 19 years wanting to get 1 i'm finally in the market for one and really want to make sure i buy the right one. So far i've looked at a bunch of them and there is one that i really like.
2006 Evo IX SE good friend of mine got it new in 2006 it just hit 34000 miles it is bone stock, garage kept and it looks brand new (my friend has 2 other cars that he drives on DD basis) he is not on a hurry to sell it but the other day i put a bug in his ear so he said for me to pay him the payoff amount of his loan it's 20,000 dollars. Guys keep in mid this car is in perfect condotion bone stock and all maintenece records.
Should i get it???

20,000 is pretty much full retail so if it is absolutely perfect then yes it would be worth it.... just remember most stock clutches only last 40k if your normal and more if your real easy but hey it is an evo it is hard to be easy!
I thought it sounded a little high as well but i think his pay off is real close to 24000 so i may not have a choice but i was on autotrader and there are ones for 30k but they only have 10k miles but they arenot even MR's?
It doesn't matter what his payoff is, as that doesn't change the value of the vehicle. That's his problem, even though he can ask for whatever price he wants. Tell him no thanks.

I have an 05 VIII MR with 14k miles. BONE stock other than $2500 worth of Clear Bra thus meaning the paint is all but flawless. Has Rally Armour black flaps, color is Apex Silver. Car basically looks new inside and out---and I mean it. You could say I'm fairly serious about car care....
I'm guessing it's one of few low mile, unmodified cars left.
What's it worth? This is my wife's car and I am thinking of upgrading to a X MR.
