anyone got an idea what 03 evo 8 shells are worth with like 40 k on them paint is in eh condition....

 

my brothers VIII had quite a few mods, and needed some work, but got it for $15k. I thought it was a good deal.

It's LHD(like in the USA) and 42k miles.

 

Holy #$%@, that's a clean evo, nicely moded, nice paintjob too , I would say to someone who appreciates evo, easily around $50,000 , that's my opinion though.

 

Yeah I had the whole car repainted down to the shell and had it entirely dynamated. I did all the prep work myself and had it sprayed electric blue with a lil touch of gold sparkle. The whole thing cost roughly 5k with me doing the prep work.

 

It is bitter sweet that the price of the Evo has gone way down...on one end...you can get a used evo for 15k now.....but if your trying to sell, you end up losing in the end.

 

That might be the case if you have some beat-up or high mileage Evo. I'm not worried about getting decent money for my bone-stock IX SE.

I have an 03 gsr with 150k motors all stock. Just has Vishnu exh and tein flex. Car runs great has a little TC whine. I'm looking to get $8500.

 

Bought my 03 evo 8 for 13500 with 70,000 miles from a guy in ohio. The cars perfect and he took good care of it. Great deal for me.

 

Looking to sell or trade my '06 EVO IX SE with 24,xxx miles for a GTR. What do you think is a fair price?

The car has the big Buschur FMIC, injectors, FP cams/springs, downpipe/exhaust, and an Exedy twin disc. I have a Black turbo, and a standalone sitting in boxes for it as well. I will probably sell mods separately except for the clutch.
