Evo will be sitting for 2 years....
I'd just sell the car or take it to college and drive it around. Having a flawless evo is great and all but it's not a ferrari and it's not like it'll appreciate. I drive my evo back and forth to school and it has 3 minor dings on it but eventually it'll get repainted when I graduate.
Anyway it's just a car, and I don't plan on it lasting forever so I'd enjoy it while it's around.

if you are going to be keeping it in the garage for right now then the only thing you have to do is to start the car at least once a week and you will be fine. But it makes no sense to be paying a car payment and insurance but not pay the small fee for tags so you can drive it when you are home. Why be paying for a car you are not going to be driving?? Sell the car and put the money towards school. When you graduate and start making bank then get the car that you want. You dont want to be in tons of debt from school loans.

It's not like the car will "grow" horsepower while sitting for 2 years!
j/k but yeah, starting and driving it every week or two should do.
get some curved ramps so your tires don't get flat spots

okay some of you are missing the point.....
im not keeping the car to sell it in the future and trying to make money or anything. im keeping it because i love the car. im not gonna drive it while im college because i dont want it getting beat up or anything. i wanna get out of college and have a mint condition car completely paid off and build it up. im not done with the evo yet, not even close...
the car will be payed off before college, so i wont have a car payment or nothing, so not driving the car is saving me lots of money. my mind is made up, the car will be off the road while im in college

I understand how you want it to stay in good condition and all, but not driving it on the weekends when your home from college is just foolish. There's nothing wrong with driving it a couple of miles around your area to keep it in good running order. Maintence wise it would be easly, just change the oil every few months. Wash her so she's not dirty, etc. In the end that is probably the best bet. This is just my .2 cents though. Remember 2years is a long time. Good luck with college though.
If you plan on storing the car for two years NOT driving it or having it started during that period would be better for it. If it were my car here is what I would do:
-wash/wax
-vacuum interior
-protectant on leather/vinyl
-dryer sheets on floor mats (smell keeps out rodents and keeps musty smell out)
-windows slightly cracked open to allow ventilation
-full tank of gas with Stabil added
-fresh oil change just before storage
-tires inflated to 45psi to prevent flat spots
-folded up rags under wiper arms to raise rubber off glass
-fogging oil sprayed into each cylinder
-rag stuffed into exhaust outlet
-rag stuffed into intake inlet
-remove battery, keep indoors, charge regularly
-nice quality car cover with a soft lining
After the 2 years is up:
-remove car cover and rags from wipers, exhaust, and intake
-install freshly charged battery
-start the engine!
-give it a good drive reaching full operating temp
-deflate tires to proper PSI
-change oil
Thats about it!
