I believe I saw where Georgia currently is in the top 3 or 4 in the country for highest gas prices, so I would gladly trade you gas prices as we are paying close to $1 more per gallon than you guys are right now.

I agree with you that usually Cali has more expensive gas, but as of recently that is not the case. Even if its not the octane thats accounting for the prices, GA is usually not anywhere close to the top of the list for highest gas prices.

Im in Alabama and its $4 for regular right now, if you can even get that, stations run out daily. And there is no premium fuel to be had anywhere. Im running 87 in my evo right now due to no choice. Hurricane 1...Alabama 0.

i got lucky i found premium too the other day. Took me 20min to find a gas station that had premium. I dont think i would put 87 in my car unless it was the absolute last resort. I could go a couple weeks without driving my car.

I let the car sit for about 5 days hoping the fuel would go back to normal, but finally I had to do something. The problems with just getting regular arent even going away, and literally NO ONE in this area has premium fuel as far as I can tell. They just arent getting it. I havent really noticed a difference in the way it drives, however I have a pretty long slow commute and I try to save gas anyways.

I believe the problems come when you are really getting into it. You should be fine as long as your not boostin all over town. Ive heard of people using 87 and just cruising and being just fine, obviously I would only do it as last resort though. I hope gas problems dont get any worse over here.

I remember reading an article in the paper that people in Texas where complaining of high gas prices after the hurricane, the price in the picture was $3.89 for premium. Now, I am glad I didn't have to deal with a hurricane, but we haven't seen prices that low in over a year I bet.

man, I dont remember the last time prices were that cheap, I guess it would have to have been almost a year ago. Regular gas has been around $4 for awhile around here.
