14 gallons is the capacity of the fuel tank. The filler neck hold some fuel as well.

I usually make a run for the station when the light comes on. I average somewhere around 11-12 gallons for a fill-up, just so happens that this time, I put it off, and then forgot I was on empty.

Yeesh that's nuts. I didn't think the entire tank was actually usable. Usually there's a decent amount of fuel that is inaccessible by the pump.

Thats really cheap gas. I live in GA and paid 4.59 for premium yesterday. Thats not unusual eaither. Before last week it was around 4.09 for premium.

Wow. I've been over 13 gallons a few times and I thought that was cutting it close. Thank you for giving me faith in our fuel tanks.

I just hope people don't look at it as..."oooh I can make it to work another day" and end up stuck. I'm guessing every EVO's gauge isn't calibrated exactly the same. some my be slightly off.

And its bad to suck up all that dirty gas in the bottom of your tank anyway. Making your fuel filter work eh?
