Front axle broke!

so my cv boot split and is not flinging grease everywhere. fantastic isnt it? that means a new driver side front axle. question is how hard is it to replace and how much would it cost for an oem piece?

if the boot just split.. you just buy the new boot with grease and clamps from the dealer.. it runs like 60 bucks for the full kit.. I have one for sale if you need one pm me.. Mine did the same thing );

if theres a clicking sound, its time for a new axle

replacing the axle isnt hard at all, just a few bolts pop out the old one, slip in the new and throw everything back together...

I have the same issue, but without the noise. Would it be wise to just change the entire axle?

Yes. Whenever i encounter a axle that is making any type of noise, it is always replaced. There is no sense in trying to rebuild the damn thing when you can buy one that is already built for less.
