Took the Evo on a three day tour of flood ravaged Eastern Nebraska and down into the Missouri valley. This included driving into towns and cities and finding the way in was the only access and having to back track. At one point in Iowa, East of Crescent we ended up on a limestone and dirt road and were stopping at farmsteads for road directions. Anyway, interesting to see what too much water can do to infrastructure. Picture a semi with wide load banners stuck in front of what remains of a two span bridge that can barely accommodate cars one way.
On an interstate on-ramp our car suddenly started making this loud racket. I thought maybe the clutch had blown up. As soon as I lifted a Mustang shot ahead of us. We were racing (and winning) and didn't even know it, lol.
This old Evo is so reliable, as usual we left our cell phones home. The only thing we keep track of on the car when traveling is the fuel gauge. Another car with the same reliability has not been built.
Changed the power steering fluid. Probably the first time ever in my cars life. It was time..... Going to change it again in a few weeks to make sure I get all the old stuff out.
Rear end is out. That was honestly way too easy to get out. Less than a hour, beer breaks included. Tre built rear end hopefully going back in tomorrow.
@Welcome2GoodBur That Ti pipe looks amazing. What does it sound like. Can you really notice the sound diff
Excellent
It sounds....amazing. I had the Buschur bullet before and it’s somehow louder than that, but in a much more refined way. It growls when you get on it. It almost adds an open dump sound. I had the rear window down and was just on the highway, and when the sound bounces off another car or overpass, it’s almost startling. I saved up for a long time for this exhaust, obviously it’s pretty pricey but damn I would say it’s worth it. I’ll try to get a sound clip and upload it.
It’s so light too! I was able to pick up the whole catback with a few fingers and almost dropped it.

Oh Dang. Your comments may get me browsing for one as well
Joe - it's honestly the best sounding exhaust out there IMO. Soso got the one off my car and I was sad to see it go. I like my ti hks but the tomei was just better. A hair too loud on my setup though. Wait for soso to get his car back and you can hear it in action next time we all meet up at the track.
