Refinished bumper, head lights, mesh, repolished intercooler and added a color matched Do-Luck style lip!

Installed OHLINS R&T coilovers, got it aligned and it feels so good. The preload, ride height, and damper are set to manufacture recommendations. 9k spring rate on both front and rear. It is my DD and no more harsh rides!

Thats awsome, I can't wait to put mine on the car. I have been just so lazy to do so with crap for weather the last few months.

Drove to work. Haven't made any major modifications lately but I just bought some new floor mats to install and currently on the lookout for a hood vent/garnish.

Finally got around to picking up and ultrasound cleaner, and dunked a bunch of rusted out stuff for roughly 15mins each. like a very intelligent person I am, I most def took before and afters.

anyways I only remembered to take a before and after of the cams you'll have to take my word on everything else I dunked being just as nasty.

incidentally, I have the torque solutions mounts, anyone happen to know how to actually mount it on the trans? my stud mounts on the one side are way too short to reach.

am I missing some hardware/special fasteners? even on the opposite side it barely begins to thread the OEM nuts.

terrible shape

unfortunately the one cam had broken out of its "storage" and rusted over the last 10yrs of sitting

some of this stuff was absolutely rusted out, or completely caked in oil and grime. water pipe specifically was in very bad shape inside and out.

22L Amazon warehouse deal!

Hey, Brother.
You are missing the hardware for the new mounts (may be able to source them out at Home Depot or similar), but you'll have to verify the thread and length.
when I installed my TS Trans mount on the Evo 8, I remember needing to remove the stock mounting bolts.
I hope this helps.

I changed the Rear diff, transfercase and transmission fluid. Went by tre recommendations to change around 5-10k miles (i did it probably around 6-7k) and the fluid still was the same color as it is new and smelled fresh. I guess I'll extend it out little further out further next time lol.

Went to the butcher shop...

Nuthin but bones...be around a little longer so if you want a piece lemme know and I'll try and get it.

The roof will go on...eventually. It is the aluminium panel so not too common these days. And doors, well if my car gets busted into again I got spare glass.

Does this evo still have the undercarriage brake lines?

I do diffs and transmission every 15k. Unless you autocross, I believe this is most people’s interval. If you haven’t been using a magnet drain plug, I would also.

mitsu diff fluids and amsoil transmission for me.

You should cut the rear quarters/dog legs if they are still salvageable. My Evo was hit back in November and almost got totalled out when the insurance company couldn't find a replacement. Luckily, I found one and it saved my car.
