I have the Kenwood DMX1037s and I have been VERY pleased with it. Blows away anything else I have used, especially the Alpine I have in my other car. I also installed a flush USB port under the handbrake. I have come to prefer wired over wireless pairing as wireless creates a little bit of delay that drives me nuts.

Looks sweet! Do you have any other pictures from the side of the Kenwood? Was wondering how much it protruded and if it was too big. Any suggestions on a compatible backup camera? Thanks!

I am using a Vantrue X4S for my font/rear camera recording so I don’t have a camera recommendation for the head unit.
I slid the head unit far back on the mounts to prevent it from protruding a lot. You can’t hardly see the gap between the plate and head unit unless you know exactly where to look.
You can ground the parking brake sensor wire, and tap into the VSS from the ECU harness.
I thought to myself, this won't take so long..... 3 days later I finished installing the DSS level 0 cv axle with a new T-case seal, a brand new wheel bearing hub (OEM), and a whiteline bump/steer correction kit, and I still have the driver side to finish! This all started because the wheel bearing on the passenger side was done! So I decided to just change both sides (only makes sense right?! .... concerned face emoji). I'm excited to be done and get the evo back on the road! Question tho: If I never removed the control arm to replace the ball joint, should I still get an alignment? Thoughts and advice on alignment or the project are absolutely welcome!

I finished fixing my gearbox. It was ride thru hell
Removing it was just a nightmare... It looked way easier on youtube but I think its always like that I bought all synchros and replaced them
While doing it it came out that sleeve & rev synch of 5th gear also needed to be replaced.. So I waited 2 weeks for delivery. After 2 weeks of practicing my bicycle skills it finally came:
Then after assembling everything together I experienced how hard is to put it back on car. But after some struggle I succeded. And... The gearbox still didn't work as it should
Imagine my despair when I realised that I need to remove gearbox AGAIN After I did it I asked my friend for opinion and it came out that spring on my clutch cover was completely overheated and needed to be replaced. After 3 weeks of losing weight on my bicycle it finally came:
So again I put everything together and made a test drive. I pushed clutch pedal like 200 times and everything worked just perfect
But then... Something went off and I was stuck on fourth gear Somehow I drove back to my garage. I thought that this time I would resign. But AGAIN I pulled this gearbox out, asked my friend what is wrong and it came out that I put the clutch cotter pin incorrectly and it went off.. I would never suspect that you can put it incorrectly but it came out that on Exedy clutch you do it from "back". I'm still not sure why it is like that but I decided to trust him. Then I put everything together and placed it back on car. It was a big struggle but now it works perfect
