Which percentage is greater - the interest you're paying on the loan, or the interest you can earn in an investment? Whichever is greater, put $10K there and take the other $1700 and go wild.

 

To be honest if you want to get some stuff for the car I don't blame you. Especially if your engine blew. I'd personally do the short block like you said and then a shep trans and transfer case to take advantage of the labor while the engine is separate from the trans. Then from there save up the rest.

pay off debt. pay off car. and whatever u have left.. buy urself something useful that you can use around the house or something. It's not all about dumping it into your car < that's gonna be a never ending story. Since there's always something new that someone is always going to want. And don't forget we all get bored after having something the same.

But yea, pay everything you owe off. Should feel nice to own and not owe... you'll see your money just accumulate and then you can spend all u want w/o worrying.

sell the **** and buy a better car...no use in buying mods you'll immediately lose money on. Buy like an e39 M5 or a used 1999 carrera with a little mileage or something else. If your stuck on evos, buy a built motor slap a 35r, a shep tranny and diff, aem ems and call it a day or call it a 9

I was just saying it, yes im military and no I dont plan on getting hurt but if I do my family gets a whole buttload of money so im not too worried about it. Allso I plan on doing my 20 years so I can have the nice retirement and when/if the stock market goes under I will still get my paycheck.

 

put in stocks, can't loose any more than you would buying car parts... there might be an up side.....?

 

I agree. Or if you haven't paid off your Evo yet, pay half of it and invest it while stock market is still low.
