what to spend a 11700$ bonus.
Buy all Buschur parts and go Fast.. You only live once.. Spend it while you got it.. I have several military customers who got bonuses and such and are going to have very fast cars in the next month!!
Congrats on reenlisting. I just re-upped myself last week.
I'm getting over $20k, but I only get to spend $5k on parts (according to the wife). The rest goes to savings.
Myself, I know exactly what I want to buy... I'm just looking for the best deals right now.
In your case, I'd say pay off the car (since you only owe six months of payments), put a good amount into savings, and spend a few grand on mods.

ok here is what I suggest from one military guy to another. If you are going to build your car up. Know what you want first so you know where to go. I would suggest looking at people selling their parts and get them at 50% off most likely. I agree with the short block/shep trans idea thats been said.
On the other note if you dont have a house (not renting I mean owning) buy a house or some property. Learn to drive to stop blowing up motors lol

lol at whoever said life insurance. The guy already has life insurance. And lol at investing in the stock market right now, wait a little longer on that one before you jump in. If you're going to invest now, go with some AAA insured bonds.
put it all in the evo and save the rest of the money you make while on duty and put it in the bank.
Pay off your debt from highest interest rate to lowest. If you don't own a home it's a good down payment. Invest it as well, you are young and the market has excelent buying opportunities especially in the long term. After that then you may spend it on your car.
thats an impossible question, in your situation i guess have a ball, but don't forget to mind your suspension and brakes as well. For me on the other hand paying off a bit of the evo would be so nice.
i vote for getting the car running, pay it off or invest/save the rest.
If your not addicted to spending tons of money on the car yet, you will be after dropping 10+g's on it, and you wont be able to stop.....
... CC debt and paychecks vanishing, FTL!!
