Go for CD. Do not go for TSP!.
I was told that if you invest 3k per year for 35 years, I'll earn little more million dollars using TSP.
Invested 5k lost 1k in 2 years.
If you are not going to use leftover money, put it on CD or something that will make money for sure.

Hardly boring at all, too bad you're not in Utah, I'd take you for a ride sometime. Half the reason I sold the Evo was because it was a pain to DD (aka needed luxury) the other half... it was too damn boring to drive.


If it were me: I'd pay off any and all debts I have (your motor needing to be replaced counts as a debt imo). From there I'd take half and save it/invest it, and then take the other half and spend it on stupid **** I don't need.
