true that..... mine will be at 500+ very soon and it's daily driven... 400whp just doesn't hack it to me on the street or the track

This is a circular argument.

Why? Because. Why? Because. Ad nauseam, ad infinitum...

dont know if this has been said but 400 WHP aint nothing really.......

you can make this kind of power very cheap and quick.......in this town im in now we have alot more 500WHP evos than the 400 range.........

to me having 500WHP is a waste if you are not tracking......but in my opinion having a 400 WHP evo which one uses daily and drives around town looking for trouble is alot of fun and is not a waste of time.....

but anyways before i get on a tangent that was a little piece of my 2 cents

I daily Drove my Voltex Wide body 450+ WHP Evo Every day and still do.... Its built for a Time Attack car and has had a Cage in it some of the Time... I Didn't get a chance to Take it to the track this year tho but I still Daily Drive it. It is to Each his Own and My other Evo is going to be about 550whp and no cage Daily Drivin so whats wrong with having a 400+ HP car and not having a cage? I know plenty of fast Track and Drag Evos that have no cage... Look at Dave Buschurs car.... Daily Drivin runs 9.1 sec 1/4 and is still stock body/interior and no cage... and Big turbos FTW

My answer to this is, once you catch the "mod bug" you're continuously chasing that excitement of more power so people keep modding over time. Eventually 300hp gets old so they're after 350, 400, then 450 and on.

I don't think anyone on this board would call 400 "big numbers"... It's not like a 1200hp f1 car that takes years of training to keep in a straight line

Mine only makes 390 but I will say that the car in not overly modified for the street. Really 600+ HP is where you have some excessive issues for the street daily driver, not that it is to much for the car or driver to handle. It is more of the drive-ability and maintenance that become more of a factor.

I had a 600+ hp Camaro back in the day, and currently have a 700+hp STi. My response is why the hell not......

Yep that's how it goes. Mine out down 300 then felt slow to me so did more stuff and got 350 now it feels slow away. In the process of doing e85 and hopefully 400.. People go for a ride a ride at 350 n they think its fast to me it's **** slow.
