accidental 87 oct fuel

So coming home I stopped in a gas station, asked for 93 oct super, and of course, got 87, and didn't realize untill I came back that the bill was very low, mind you this is jersey, we don't pump our own gas, so after a few minutes of being very angry they refunded my money, so I already had half a tank of 93 oct, and now half a tank of 87, and I don't wanna have issues, so is there anything I can do short of siphoning it all out and refilling.

If you're running on your stock ecu you will be fine, just dont get on it until your next tank of gas. Your stock ECU comes with a low octane fuel map that it will switch to when it notices the drop in octane.

like ^ ^ said.

Drive it like normal... At worst it will use the retarded timing and richer fuel maps.

Adding octane booster it a little extreme as that stuff doesn't do crap, esp with a full tank of fuel and draining the fuel is over the top extreme.

Lol, I've seen several of these threads and octane boosters will do very little to help you. It's a waste of money. Like BenJ said, just drive the car real easy until you use your fuel up.

Just drive it a bit easier than usual. Unless you're near or at full boost it won't make a difference; and even if it did the ECU will just pull timing.

Octane booster rasies octane 7 points
87.0 to 87.7

Stay out of boost

Dont rely on the ECU to pull timing with 87 gas and aggressive driving .
