o2 Sensor Question!

Hello, im new here but besides that i have a question.
Im looking at an evo (going to drive up to look at it today).
He says the only thing wrong with it, is BOTH o2 sensors are bad!
What the....
So my question is, is this normal for an 05 evo8 with 47000 miles?
What about the clutch iv heard bad stories about it..

Im just curious on if its going to be really expensive, not to mention did it hurt the engine?
Also, since their are no o2 sensors working, what should i look for thats out of the ordinary?

This is my first evo, tell me what bad things i should look for.
Keep in mind im kinda familar with the engine cause iv got a GST Eclipse.
Thanks(never had o2 sensors go out)

if the front o2 sensor is bad I'm pretty sure the car won't run very well

the rear would just throw a cel

O2 sensors average from 35K to 50K. Mine just went out last weekend and I have 49K. It threw a 0402 code I believe. I don't know which one it is but the car still runs normal so maybe it's the rear? As far as clutch, it all depends on the driver. You have ppl who need a new clutch after 2K and ppl at the other end of the spectrum. I'm still on the stock clutch pushing at least 350whp daily. Plus I also learned to drive stick on this car. If you treat it well, she'll more than likely be fine.

I got front one for $49.90 shipped. I'm not sure why the rear one is so expensive. There's a ECU flash to get rid of the rear O2 check engine light.

So i found out its only one of the o2 sensors, and the check engine light is ON.
The car runs like normal.

My question is i have the innovative lc-1 wideband sitting in my room all i need is the o2 sensor for it. If i bought that o2 sensor would that be ok? Or do i need to get it welded onto the exhaust?
ExtremePSI.com has the o2 sensor and the cable that hooks up to the actual guage itself, i NEED this wire. Is this the real price for it? And does the cable actually come with it?
http://www.extremepsi.com/store/cust...at=1056&page=1

Thanks!

Also where in the world does anyone sell the lc-1 o2 sensor at lol.
you can buy a universal bosch o2 sensor and wiring it in to replace the lc-1 and/or oem sensor

you'd also need to find out if the cel is on because the sensor is bad or simply because it's seeing too much feel most likely due to a test pipe in the exhaust...if the sensor isn't bad you simply need a cel fix

you would need a bung welded in for the lc-1 or use ecuflash to disable the rear o2 sensor and put the lc-1 sensor in it's place
