question about driving in snow
regardless of what car you have or what tires you should b careful in hazardous conditions anyway - i do admit that driving the evo in snow or rain feels a little more solid (for lack of thinking of a better term) in that you don't slide around too much vs fwd let alone rwd. As long as you drive carefully and are aware of the elements ahead of you you should b fine (now, those other ppl on the road with you...well, that's a different problem
)
)
I'd say if you have a choice and resources to have two sets (winter/summer) tires is the best way to go. That way you'll get the most out of both conditions. However, a lot of people go with all season tires year around and that isn't too bad either. Currently I have all season tires Mich. Pilot Sport A/S and they handle just fine. Just tested them last night, over 10" snow.
