Hey guys, I know this must be the dumbest question ever but i was wondering what the difference is between the Evolution IX and the Evolution IX MR??? I know that the MR is lighter and a tad faster and whatnot but I wanted to know if there are any real differences in these two cars. Is the MR less luxurious or something? And why does it cost so much more than a regular IX?

 

P.S. I already know about the different rims and the little spikes on the top back of the roof. hahaha

yes the mr comes with 450awhp stock and thr standard ix has 270awhp stock.

no seriously you need to search bad, thank god you dont have an evo.

evo ix-5 speed, brembo brakes
evo ix mr-6speed, blistein brakes and suspension, vortex generator...and more

Yep, Also a alum roof, c/f brake handle.... oh and the weak 4th gear is a huge plus...

 

oh both comes with brembo brakes.
MR comes with blistein shocks

not worth extra grands

 

VG= spikey thing on the roof

 

MR is cooler cuz i own one....also has factory gauges as well in the center console

 

You can buy aftermarket blistein HD brakes for the regular IX for pretty cheap. They're way better than the brembos. Great when combined with Swift pads.
