2nd and 3rd gear

Can someone help me out, it never really bothered me but when I go into 2nd or 3rd I hear a pretty distinctive CLUNK when I let go of the clutch. Like it catches the gear really hard. Can anyone help me identify what may cause this? It doesn't affect how the car drives just the clunking is making me worried now. I do have a aftermarket clutch and flywheel.

Before you think of anything bad, maybe see if your clutch is bled? Is it engaging low? Or maybe its just your shifting? How is your diff fluid?

sounds like you need to be a little easier on the clutch...I'm assuming the aftermarket flywheel is a lightweight one? you need to be a little slower with the clutch

Yeah it's normal man.. I was scared as **** when I heard it the other day until I went to the dealer and had one of the in house mechs test drive it. He asked me if I ever drove manual transmission and told me just be easier on the clutch it was normal and I told him to gtfo of my car

Btw it's not my first time driving manual transmission.

if its from the back and your poping the clutch, i think its all the power hitting the rear differential. let up the clutch slower.

might just be ur driving. Sometimes in the morning when I drive and I'm still half asleep, my shifting is sloppy as hell.
