Carbon Fiber Hoods

Last night I caught three kids throwing large rocks at my car. Looking at the damage, I noticed a few chips and many scratches.

This morning the damage got assessed at around 800.00 to repair the hood. The mother of the kids agreed to write me a check where I figured I might as well just buy a new carbon hood.

I have searched around and have been interested in the Seibon CW hood. My question, is the seibon hood good quality?

Any input is appreciated as I am looking for the best brand and quality of carbon fiber. I have a budget of 800.00.

Thank You!

There's about 6 six kids that live next door to my apartment. They're always outside unsupervised around the ages of 7-11. I had talked to a cop and he had talked to a few of the kids and they admitted to throwing the rocks for fun.

If I can get both that would be great, but for right now I am looking for a good quality hood. I am also interested in getting it used if it is in great condition.

I have the Seibon stocker on my car. I would not suggest to anyone to get a Seibon. It looked nice for a few months, then the hairline cracks, gelcoat dulling and yellowing started.
If you are going to invest in a Carbon Hood, get one that is of high quality and actually weighs less than the stock hood. Seibon are none of those.

I wouldn't recommend a Seibon hood, especially the TS-II. Looked great for a while, then hairline cracks, fading and yellowing. Spend a little extra and save yourself the headache later, I wish I would have.

hahahahaha

My gf was wondering why I wasn't all that mad, and I told her the same thing; new hood!

Evidently the lady next door is no longer inviting her nieces and nephews over so I'm not too sure how many hoods we could get out of this deal.

From what I hear Seibon is not the way to go, anyone else with experience?

So far Varis and Gialla, do they have trunks as well?
