I live and hold an insurance license in FL most states are pretty similar...Hit and run ...If it happened in the parking lot when you weren't there...is considered Comprehensive damage(fire,theft, vandalism)...Comp claims cannot raise premiums...something to keep in mind...GOOD LUCK

 

I understand, but they could drop me after the claim is closed. Plus its a great time to upgrade more parts!

I'm 98% sure the bastard was drunk and trying to avoid a DUI charge. The 12am at IHOP was a big clue, nothing like some waffles and pancakes to acompany some beers. Woulda been nice if he got caught...

good chance that the driver was drunk when he hit your ride. I've witnessed too many drunk drivers run up curbs/hit parked cars , usually after the clubs. good luck man
