dude i know how bad you feel. i got hit and run in our employee parking lot that HAS cameras and they still never caught anyone and they hit it hard! they hit it from behind and pushed it into the car in the spot infront of me so ended up with front and rear damage that totalled 7k but got some upgrades out of it as well! so i hope everything works out for ya!

I feel for you man, I had one happen to me on Fort Hood not even close to being as bad as yours. If I would have found that soldier he would have been doing push ups in hand cuffs until he puked.

That blows man. But only $4800? That seems cheap. Something similar happened to my car shortly after I got it, but the damage didn't seem near as bad as yours and it was like, 3 grand IIRC. But the headlight I needed was a big chunk of that. Good luck getting it fixed.

 

Isnt a hit and run claimed under comprehensive coverage? If it is, your rates won't go up, but that doesn't avoid the deductible.
