Hello all, i know there is alot of threads about weight reductions here on the forums.. but i want answer for myself anyways i was cruising last night and i wanted to check how much exect my evo weight was, it was 1520kg (3350lbs) that was without a drive and really low gas, what i have done so far is little, i have removed every thing in the trunk, i have taken out both front and rear bumper support, and no wing. This is like 30+kg i still have AC but i will probably take that out becouse where i live i never use it.. what more can i take out ?

you may underestimate how nice the AC is at defrosting your windshield. The car automatically engages the AC when you turn on your defroster.

It will still defrost, but not until your car is warm, and also not as well.

I also think some of the quick wins people have done were:

Switching out the rear diff support with the AMS mustache bar eliminator
Switching out the front engine mount with AMS's
changing out the 3 piece driveshaft for a two-piece
some people remove the front bumper crash beam with a bigger intercooler, but I haven't gone that route.
lighter exhaust
Small battery kit

Seats, door panels, sound deadening, carpet and trim....Ok, maybe not. Little stuff like posted above should help though, unless you want an all out race car.
