Car locking problem.

Ok so the other day i was in the worst mood ever bc gf pissed me off. So i accidently kicked my evo door open and hit it with a pole . But my detailer got the scrap off for me thank god. Well anyways after that happen i closed my door and tried locking it. All the other doors would lock, but not mine. I have to physically turn the lock on the door and then hit the lock button on my car for the alarm to set. Same thing with unlocking, the drivers side door wont unlock unless i physically stick my key in the hole on the handle. Did i mess up a switch or sensor. Thanks guys

take your interior door panel off and check to see if you disconnected or broke the locking mechanism...
