Wiper Problem

My wipers stop whenever and wherever they want (in the middle of the windshield). I also pretty much lost my "INT" mode on the wipers (the mode that wipes, stops for a few seconds then wipes again); That mode and the "SLOW" mode are pretty much the same. I hate to say, but it started happening after I got my new gauges installed. Any help is appreciated.

Electrical Gremlins. Some one post this man a link lol

-take a look at the harnesses down by your left foot on the drivers side. Right behind that kick panel by the fuses sorta.

-remove the harnesses and check for corrosion

- if all checks out, do yourself a favor and seal up the hole where the harnesses are fed through the fender.

SOMEONE POST THE THREAD LINK, it explains all of this very well there. Hopefully that helps

I guess I'll just take it to the stealership.

PS, I'm from North Laderdale/ Margate and will be down there for a few weeks in a couple of days. Let me know if you want to meet up or something.

if it started after some shop installed your gauges go back there and tell them to fix whatever they f*cked up.

if they went into the fuse box directly, just wrapping the wire around the fuse, it may be because the fuse is hardly in the box... check to see where they got the power for the gauge...

i also agree with doccola... take it back to the shop, and make them do your leg work.. after all you paid them to do it right, not half a%^ed

Thanks for the input guys. I really don't think it was the shop. Afterall, the guy that installed them for me is a very trusted Evo mechanic and knows his stuff. Not only that, but it also rained for a few days after I had them installed.

The weather is pretty crappy so I still can't go out and follow the DIY posted.
