Mr.LED here on the forums sells the necessary LEDs to brighten up your dash. It was a 30min job and that's only because I guessed 2 of the LEDs wrong.

the dude on here sells the led kit to make it brighter

That looks rediculously expensive for what it does. Is there no way to do a firmware flash on an in-dash dispaly with the EvoScan software? Or get an EvoScan GPSNav unit with Video Out and plug it into an in-dash unit?

Didn't read the whole thread but you can probably get a car PC with a double dim monitor and just run the EVOSCAN software on it. Not to mention MP3, DVDs, HD radio, GPS, etc.
