Steep Driveway?

Steep Driveway?

We are in the process of buying a house that has a pretty steep driveway. I was wondering if anyone else has any issue or problems or has drive up a pretty steep driveway. We are probably around 25 degrees.

No steep driveways here.... but big azz speedbumps! I have 1" Swift drop springs and have to hit certain speedbumps at an angle.

Keep a good paint shop on speed dial! lol

get a huge piece of wood or something and place it down..and use little support things under it

i know someone who used little ramps...he would pull them out and put them away after he moves his car. lol

Just hit it diagonal. My parents' driveway is very steep, but if I hit it right I don't have any problems

good luck lol... ive always told myself i would never buy a home with a steep driveway lol simply because of my cars. And shoveling the snow would suck to.

Yeah it's a pain in the *** trying to hit it at the right angle. I would just get some little ramps or something to help out.

I got a steep driveway like that and it stretched out the parking brake cable. Wouldnt recomend it unless u got boards or bricks under it.

Humm i'm going to have to try and an angle. I can always part it on the street but I keep seeing plenty of posts with evos missing things like seats, or the whole car, that get parked in public view.

im its just a house thats not in a development then just redo the drive way with less of an angle haha jk but it would work if youu have the finances

@evokid - you would need a bit more room to extend it to decrease the angle. We bought the house in our development with the least angle on our driveway and it also ended up having the best view. Others park their cars on the street and while I doubt they'd get broken into it makes the neighborhood look like crap with cars everywhere.

25 deg is pretty damn steep, don't lower it too low or your gonna have to drive it in a diagonal angle every time you drive up

Its steep defiantly and it has a little bump right before the driveway from a small drain ditch that runs under it. Its pretty wide so at least comming up and an angle might be ok, im still afraid of destroying the bumper or worse.

Go in at an angle and back out of the driveway at an angle.. its not that hard.. My cars are always low with cf front lips and i have no issues.. occasionally you might scrape a lil, but that is it..
