Response from Buscher Racing

This post is for David Buschur. I have emailed him twice (that is the email address on your website) about the specifics of the modifications you recommend. I wanted to know to understand the need for me to spend $2300 to get everything you suggest installed. I only live about an hour from your shop and want to get the modifications done. However, I have had no reply whatsoever. I know you guys are very busy, but I would like to hear your comments. Would you prefer that I call again? I just would like to have some more info before I plan on laying out that amount of money.

Thanks for your attention.

Use their forum. They are pretty quick to reply on their forums.

Uhhh...call them. You want an immediate response. A call gets you an immediate response. Use the tool that best suits your requirements. Email is not that tool.

Re: Response from Buscher Racing

Would you e-mail 911?
Calling gets you a direct response.
Sorry that David's too busy trying to make performance parts that work that he can't get back to your e-mail in 24 hours. I do know that of the 3 times that I've called him up, I've spoken with him personally and he's a nice, honest guy and has a great reputation on these boards. Don't ruin it just because you don't have the sack to pick up the phone and call someone.

By the way, 2300 bucks IS NOT THAT MUCH to justify whining on here. I suggest you forget about David and call an accountant if this is going to break the bank for you.

Sorry for the , but I do not suffer fools well.

I look at it this way. Most of the good tuners are doing what they do, tuning. I am not making excuses for anyone, but it's the nature of the business. Every time I call Vishnu, I have to talk over the sound of someone on the dyno in the background. I would imagine the crew at Buschur Racing is spending time in the shop, not at a desk. Personally, I would rather deal with someone that is a true enthusiast like David who might be tough to get in touch with sometimes than someone who is waiting by a phone or surfing the web. Just my two cents.

I've had nothing but great experiences from Buschur.. Don't take a lack of response personally.. If their mailbox is anything like mine, they get HUNDREDS of e-mails a day and its easy to miss a request for information. I've PM'ed David and his folks several times and always gotten responses. But if your REALLY serious about going there and having work done, and you want to drop the dough for it.. Call 'em.. Their the some of nicest people I've ever dealt with for speed parts. I'm sure they get tons of requests for information from people who don't intend to spend any money but are just chewing the fat.. So don't get too frustrated with e-mail... It is what it is.. If you want a real time response, make a realtime request.. Call 'em..

Yeah, I dunno if it's on their page since they redesigned it, but they used to warn that they did not check e-mail frequently and the best way to contact them was by phone.

I called and talked to Jarrod, and he says he'll call me back today, he has been very helpful, since I will be picking up the items at the shop.

And what exactly is there to talk about? The parts are on the website, prices are listed, are you waiting for them to beg you to spend your money?

You gotta be friggin kidding me. If you want to play, you have to pay. If you're not ready to spend, you're wasting their time which could be better spent tuning that big turbo setup.

Trust me, there are plenty of people spending big bucks modifying cars that they don't need to hold your hand. When you have money, call them. Till then, you're wasting their time and yours.

Grow up.
