Just over two months right now. Took my car in back in April to get the manis ported and the BR 65mm TB. And then I decided to install the cams, head studs, O2 Dump, springs retainers. Then CBRD came out with their FMIC so I just had to have that. The shop doing the work told me if i wanted upgrade the turbo they would only charge me 85$ for labor to send it off to CBRD to get the BBK full. All the parts are in now and i should be getting her back by the time i get back from tyndall. What started as a two week downtime turned into just over two months. But, I dont regret it at all.

I just went through 15 mos. 14 mos deployment and I stopped driving a month before leaving on the deployment.... it really sucked..

When I got back I couldn't get her out the holding lot because it was closed.. "I still went to the lot and stared at her for 15mins through the fence, I teared..." ; (

bought mine in Nov 07 and drove it for about a week. Dropped it off at the shop and came to IZ Mar 08. Came home Sep 08 and drove it around for a few days, put it back in the shop Dec 08 and will be home in a few days.

So I've owned it for a year and a half and drove it for maybe 2 weeks.

the longest i been withou my car is 2 months too long!! lol i took my car to the dealership cause everytime i engaged the clutch i would hear a grinding noise. 2 days later it wouldnt crank up. come to find out that my crank position sensor bent inside. in the process of replacing, the dealershipp messed something up and cause a bearing to spin and got a new engine replace!! i was assed out for 2 months but worth it tho.. i have 30k on the clock and 0 on the engine!!!

I am counting no more! Mother f.er, damn, I thought I would have knocked this out by now. Holy **** I am happy. She runs perfect and my new twin plate is working like it is supposed to, I think. I still have a few bits to work out, like two broken bolts, bent intercooler, unpainted bumper and fender, and no refrigerant, but it is more than ready to do laps around the block. Thanks to all who posted good information on evom.
