holly molly LOL, dang If I wait that long ill die, you guys must be having secondary cars and just use ur evos on the weekends or something ha lol. I guess its time for me to buy a honda civic just so that I have something on the side .

 

a month...transfer case broke and had to send it to Shep.

 

2 years, 2 evos and 2 shops later I'm super happy with my Evo. I didn't choose the right shop to start and it cost me about 30g x2 to find out the hard way.

 

12 months while I was in the Middle East.

 

i went about 7 weeks a few years ago, and im about to go nearly 3 months as im going to maine for the summer, and leaving the evo securely (and cleanly) tucked away in my parents 3rd garage.

 

The longest for me was 2 months 1 week. This was due to the fact my car was stolen and wrecked (totalled). I had to come "out of pocket" to buy a new one ( as this was during the beginning of the economic down-turn and it was almost impossible to get a loan with a decent interest rate).

 

My longest time was 2 weeks, got hit on my rear quarter panel. After the first week I was going crazy

 

1 month to repair rear end damage after being rear ended.

 

If anyone wants my down times past and future...............it's yours!!!

 

It came off the road last September for some work, then winter hit in December ...

It should have been out April 1st but I'm waiting on one more part.

SO ... 8 months!

 

I'm on my 3rd week right now, another 4-8 weeks to go.

I tore my Achilles Tendon in my left ankle, just had surgery last week. Before surgery I couldn't even push the clutch in without a TON of pain.

 

Why anybody stores an Evo in the winter is beyond me. There is no more fun than an Evo in the snow! Your loss.

 

bought mine used, and 1 week after having it someone backed into me at a gas station...didnt have it for 2 months....then right after my gearing felt off so 1 more week, then the clutch went out...so another 3 days....all dealership...plus they were holding my car for another 3 days to replace my oxidizing wing....so...basically only 2months and 2 weeks...

but it was a hectic 2 ½ months

 

on the plus side...it hasnt givin me ANY problems and its smooth as a baby's behind now!

 

1.5 weeks in the body shop due to me being an idiot, also a wrong part was delivered by Mitsu..

Drove my brothers Scion xB in the meantime and it felt so good getting back in the EVO..
