The longest you've been without your Evolution.
Meaning downtime. I think mine was 4 months because I waited on parts to arrive. There have been increments of 1-2 months though, and my recent stint is approaching 1 month with no road time.
Just wanted to see what other people are logging for downtime for their Evo. You sure have to love these cars to accept their lack of road-time

Longest my evo has been down is 1 week due to being rear ended by a minivan..
I don't know I haven't driven mine since sometime in the winter and all because of a stupid ECU problem that still isn't fixed
I think my car will sit as a project wasting to be fixed for then next long time

I didn't have it for two weeks around Christmas time (out of town). After I got back, I drove it one day to work, and bent a rim. Didn't drive it for two more weeks waiting on new wheels and tires to arrive from a member here. Drove it two more days, and the t-belt tensioner went out. It's been dead ever since. So in the last 6 months, I've driven it three days, and it's been 4 1/2 months since the last seat time.
It's currently with KevinD getting headwork and drop-in pistons. Really look forward to getting it back.

Jeez! You've got my respect evoDON there's no way I could go without a car at all for a year. Good luck with the build though, I'm sure all you'll do is drive when you get it back.
yea it definitely sucks, but i want it to be perfect when it is done, i dont wanna half a*s anything during the build. I want to make it as reliable as i can and make sure i am getting the best stuff i can for the build. dont wanna cheap out on one thing and it end up costing me more money and time away from my car in the end. and believe me, i can't wait till it is done. driving it every chance i get and going to every meet i can
Right now im about 11 months in, Lost my license for awhile, and then when my brother was driving my car trying to sell it for me he blew the motor being an idiot. So now its sitting in the front of my house motorless waiting for me to build it up and get my license back, poor evo!
