I felt like a little girl again.

 

the first time I actually saw one was when I test drove it for the first time...I was hooked. NOTHING I had ever driven handled like an evo.

 

When I first got to see up close and ride in an Evo I was amazed, my friend had an EB VIII with BPU and cams , I remember going for a ride and asking him about the car and he said it had a crack in the turbo mani (Megan) and that he needed to get it fixed.

I asked him if that is why he was driving it so slow, he proceeded to say no and tell me that it hauls **** and nailed it, I had the BIGGEST $hit eating grin on my face and knew I was in love.

I had gone from hondas, to acuras and got tired of dumping money into my cars and bought a Benz, but when I got taken for a ride in the Evo it was all over and I had to have one. The modding bug bit me yet again lol

I wound up buying my IX MR SE from a kid who used to work for me who dad was filthy rich so I got a really good deal on it and haven't looked back or regretted it since.

As for how I feel about the Evo X, I surely don't get the same feeling, to me its not as aggressive looking and it looks WAY to much like the regular lancer since all the body lines etc are the same.

 

^ yea but then again evos 7-9 also resemble the base lancer lol

I didnt see to many evos around my town but they came out when I was in middle school haha
It was my obsession back then, everything revolved around an evo for me
so when I got the money I had to get my 03

 

first thing i felt was anger toward mitsu for making the car i wanted so unaffordable at 37000.i was pissed.lol

 

In comparison to the X looking like the base model vs. VII-IX looking like the base its is a HUGE difference.

When I see a base X I have to look at it pretty close to determine if it is a X or not, with the VII -IX's I dont because the body lines, lights, stance pretty much everything sets it apart really quick.

i was actually shopping for a new car when i seen her for th first time. i called the guy on the spot and said i'd take it. no questions asked. she's now my baby and i take care of her like she's my child. nothing has changed.

 

I first saw an evo 6 being driven by jackie chan in one of his movies back when I was in middle school and loved the sight of it so much. I only dreamed of having one and as luck would have it I ended up buying one almost a year ago and I have never had an experience in anything that gives me this much excitement. I am never getting rid of my baby

 

I was actually shoppin for a car the day before, I was lookin at a new 05 Sti, they wouldn't give it to me for the money I had so I left, the next day was driven with a buddy of mine, and I saw her sitting at a used car lot sitting up one of those car stands right in the corner, immediately I told my buddy to turn around, went and looked at it, I barely knew how to drive stick at the moment. had my buddy drive it first to make sure it was alright since I didn't know much about manual cars, then I drove it. I told the guy I will be back in 30 min with a check, then I returned and picked up my baby, and she has been all mine since then, and don't plan on getting rid of her anytime soon.

 

when i first saw an 8 i was even more in love with them i owned a normal lancer and became embrassed to own it since the evo's arrived and didnt end up falling into my evo until 2009 when i just came across it one day and was like thats it im finally buying one.

As far as the x i'm only in awe of them once there lowered with wheels then they look sick otherwise im only trying to tell if its a normal lancer or not lol but i plan to buy an x next summer to have as my dd so i can go bigger on my 8

 

I instantly wanted one in Blue

 

The first time I saw an Evo I thought it was ugly. (2fast 2furious Movie)
Then I saw one on the road (BBY) and i fell in love.
