the first time i saw an evo was the day i was getting my wifes engagement ring. lets just say i got her the wrong diamonds. jk but i did fall in love with something other than a girl for the first time.

 

The first evo I ever saw in action was Kevin D's white evo with 500+ hp, I dont think he was running an exhaust but that made my heart drop when I saw it and I wanted one, since I maxed out my 02 lancers motor I want an evo now.

 

First time I seen one I was overwhelmed with an urge to drop to my knees and say im not worthy. It felt like a sin to cast my eyes upon something so beautiful.

 

The first time I saw one in person, it was right when they first came to the US. The local dealer still hadn't gotten any and I saw a black one on the highway with a middle aged woman driving it! I was always a fan of the evo and to see it in person and the realization that they were available in the US was a great thing knowing I would one day own one.

 

when I first saw an evo it was a VIII and the this was on the thruway and it was rally red it looked so nice that made me want one so badly but then I saw tokyo drift with the IX and it just made me want one so badly. all I can say is that I felt pure happiness.

 

The first time I saw an evo IX wagon was when they announced it and did an article in a magazine and my first thought was, EVO wagon is just dumb. Well...6 years later.

 

first time I saw one was in the fast and the furious 2 and said damn thats a nice car but it would look sicker without the bodykit and stuff. Then I said to myself I'll never be able to afford that, then I saw it in tokyo drift and said I have to get one. I seriously am addicted and love the evo without even test-driving it and I will get one eventually.

I saw a RR and a LY one at my local stealership back when they first came out. I was like 17 then. I wanted one so bad, but I knew I never could afford one at that time. So I ended up getting a Honda until I totaled it, took the money from that and bought a talon TSI AWD. Put about 15k into that over the course of three years, then realized that I made enough money to buy an Evo lol. Waited about 6 months until I found a RS with low mileage in NJ. When I got off the plane and saw my car waiting on me all shiny looking , I felt like I was 17 again. Then I drove it back home to GA in 13hrs with only stops for gas. lol Ive been hooked ever since. I think the CT9A will go down as the best Evo platform of all time (and baddest car factory-stock of its era for 30k).

 

the first time i saw it, was in a magazine. I went directly to the dealership and said, LET THERE BE EVO! And there was... And it was good.... I left the lot driving my first evo, with a raging b0ner. :}

 

Well I first saw my brother's evo( which now belongs to moi) I thought it was a ricer lancer with a bodykit. THen when I heard it was turbo, I doubted its power. When i got to drive it a year later, with 200 hp more I fell in absolute love with it!
So overall, I greatly dispised them because I WAS more of a euro kid.

I remember the first time I saw an evo it was a blue one and it had carbon fiber doors and fenders and looked sickk. I used to had to pass that spot to go to high school everyday and ive had so many cars..mosty front wheel drive turbos...and spent so much money on them but something kept telling me "Get an Evo" "Evo" "AWD" " 2 step" "Anti lag"...lol I really wanted one but didnt have the money..then my friend bought one and I drove it..Man Oh mann....anyways I sold my 95 maxima then bought an 02 altima then sold that then bought an 03 turbo jetta which was running 25 psi bought a Subaru Wrx..then sold that bought a 08 Gti then sold that and Finally got my 03 Evo 8

I love my Evo so much I spent most of my Wedding money on it lol

The first time I saw an evo, I was immediately hooked. It was my incentive to get myself through college and get a good job. Once I finished school, I got a good job and bought my Evo. The car had everything I wanted, Great lines, great handling, brakes, engine.

With all of my old favorites turning into NA sleds, I figured I might as well get an Evo before they become obsolete.

 

I heard about the VIII and how sick it was supposed to be, but I didn't believe it. So the first time I saw one my jaw dropped and I said, "How the hell can that kid afford that car?" Well I busted my *** for four years (I was 17 then) and bought mine straight up. Now i'm that kid with the Evo. My jaw still drops every time I see one; mostly because they are so rare around here, many more subbies and mustanks.
