Hi Celm.
I beginning to wonder, with all your recent plugs for Evolution Imports, whether you've made some kind of "partnering" arrangement with Adam at E.I.. Or maybe you're trying to generate some inflow to E.I. to prop up their "pyramid" long enough so you can get your money out before they collapse.
Of course, there is no way that a car originally manufactured as right-hand drive will be legally admitted permanently into the U.S. for unrestricted street use without some (destructive crash) testing. And Adam at E.I. has demonstrated, if nothing else, that he won't risk his own money up front for such silliness as U.S. certifications.
BTW, has it really been 6 months since you handed over your $39K to Adam at E.I.? How's your Evo VII handling since it's break-in? Oh wait, I forgot. You still don't have possession.
And your SIG is starting to look a bit old and frayed. Maybe you should change if from

i just called them. and they said that if i were to want one then i would need to register it in another state then at 7500 miles i would then be allowed to register it in california and all this complicated ****. basically its not worth all this crazy trouble, then have to worry bout warranty and what not etc
ahaha.. california has that goofy rule that no new / used car can be brought in with under 7500 miles. I guess that is for the emissions (49 state cars vs CA cars)?
EI is certainly not the place to get any Evolution registered. Just ask Adam how he is doing with the presold ones (presold almost 15 months ago at this point).
If EI was in charge of the warranty, that would be like no warranty at all (i would imagine).

Celm - any ETA for the EVO VII? pretty soon EI will just slap a R title Vin from a regular lancer on those suckers and send them out.

btw sean, i was at the drift showoff a couple weeks back, and visited ur RBmotoring booth. i got a bizness card and its been on my desk since the show and when i read this thread, i was like wtf same guy?
