It would be nice to see someone running an EVO at least in the SCCA T1 class if not in the GT class.

There was a subie running in the touring group with the N/A 2.5L engine.

It always ran at the back because the car is still under development.

NO F*CKIN WAY!!!! that would be AWESOME id watch that stuff all day. I think a tuned evo with a capable driver will demolish the others. ******* i wanna see this

Turn on the SpeedTV World Challenge sometime, the chance of an Evo hanging with any of the cars would be extremely difficult.

Cool idea. Sucks that this guy came on here, got everyone hyped up, and then hasn't posted ever since in any thread period. The Evo would have one helluva time competing in the GT class w/o some serious support behind it. A "privateer" effort probably won't get the job done. Just my .02

I think it would be great pending it is a good effort....

GT class is very competitive and it would be very hard for the EVO to win but I would still love to see it join the series.

You would have to have one hell of a budget to compete in that series.Most of them teams are unlimited budget factory teams.My bestfriend builds world challenge cars and works with Randy Pobst.The amount of money and development it would take to get an EVO up to speed with those teams would be very high.Im sure it could be done.But not without a big name backing it.I would love to see it in that series though.
