damn that sucks... i would supect Mitsu would not give you another one. they have become real **** about what is warranty work and what is 'grey' warranty work (this means that if you can pay out of pocket for a quick turn around... they wont warranty it).

GL... I would get another used one or something from the rexpeed collection.

 

Bringing this back from the dead, i got another evo9 and again doing a top speed run it broke!!! This time had a passenger with me! He was like WTF, i knew exactly what happened. Damn again!

 

Get a Evo 8 wing there stronger

 

or get apr gtc or voltex wings LOL

this whole situation sounds like a bunch of BS. that guy from like page 2 that said he's seen this a bunch of times and it was because of the gurney flap (which is a factory installed option btw) was full of ****.

I've been up to 155+ in my car more times than I can count, and it has seen speeds of over 100mph daily since I bought it new 5 years ago. 172k+ miles, and my wing has never shown any signs of fatigue.

ive had my car thru numerous touchless car washes ... look at the rear view mirror when you go thru the dryer... whole damn wing vibrate and looks like its going to fly off

back on track, 140 mph runs... wing still there, no cracks no nothing

... andd i eat tacos on it when the taco truck seating area is full

 

Go through insurance thats what I did, and I got me a little lip through ebay saved ALOT of money.
