Well if you got crap gas you got crap gas. I prefer meth to adding race gas all the time. Of course I say that after building up supporting mods first so I guess I can't say I disagree.

100% agree. OP, as to what your friend said, hes nutz!! you want to pay that much for 3 tunes!! what a joke,ok a tune for race,DD AND HIGHWAY??!!I would think that DD and highway would be the same.wtf would be the point of 2 different tunes for that.ohh on the freeway time to switch maps.lol

3 tunes lol...make it 5, start up tune, cruising tune, reverse parking tune, highway tune, and race tune

So glad I have the tools and a decent knowledge on tuning, saves time and money.

Dude you're friends a tool. Seriously you don't sound like you are skilled enough to flash youre own ECU so how would you go about flashing your ECU for 3 different tunes (2 of which are redundant).

Dyno and get a baseline first. Do typicaly bolt ons (Exhaust, air filter, DP, 02 housing). afterthat depending on your budget, cams, IC (or E85 if you have it readliy available). You will need to have it tuned even after the bolt ons.

You could do the map switch and have a map for pump gas and one for E-85 (again assuming its available for you in your area).

I made 351 hp and 348 torque and my mods are
brian crower 272
full exhaust (from o2 housing all the way back)
boost controller
drop in filter
bigger intercooler with lower piping.

Hope that helps. Good luck.
