when you dont have your Evo...
I ended up with a melted piston back in May of this year and I was carless for two months. I was trying a 97 Expedition for those two months. I thought i was going to fall over every turn I made.
I hate not driving my Evo. I sold mine to my brother so now I am carless and have to drive a 1993 4Runner that reeks of soaking wet dogs. Its rear suspension is shot so the car leans back and looks like it is constantly under some monstrous acceleration even though it barely reaches speed to keep up with traffic on the highway. What I do is try to ride my bike anywhere that is in town. Anything more than 18 miles, I'll bare with the 4Runner, but my bike keeps me healthy, and it it fun!
well when it rains or the weather is bad the evo sits in the garage.. so i drive my lifted dodge (its always fun to run stuff over) or my zx10 (which makes the evo feel real real slow)

In our area, most Evo pilots wave to each other as we pass by. There aren't that many of around and it's rare to see another Evo on the road. Once in a while, when I'm in one of my other cars, I'll see an Evo and start to wave only to realize at the last minute that I'm not driving one.
Drove a friend's 94 Dodge Intrepid for 4 weeks while I was fixing my car. Thing's very hazardous to drive. Right when you hit 60MPH, the right front wheel starts to shake violently. We know the problem and even bought the part to fix it but since it was just a beater, we got lazy (tierod bushings were completely missing). For the shaking to stop, I either had to move the wheel around or drive up to 80MPH. Since the bushing was missing, I had to rotate the wheel about 180 degrees before it would actually turn the car. Cannot wait until he gets another beater (hoping a CRX) so I can enter that thing in a destruction derby.
