Do you know for sure that car was stripped by thieves? Looks like a car that was wrecked, put in a junkyard, and parted out.

I had a Mustang stolen that had LoJack. LoJack is only activated after you file a police report. My car was stolen at work in front of witnesses who ran in to tell me that it was being driven away. I called 911 to tell them the direction my car was headed and I told the operator to turn on my LoJack. The operator said that I either had to get to a police station or flag down a passing officer so I could file a report.

My car was recovered later in the day and it was similarly stripped. No crooks in sight. Screw LoJack

LoJack is great thing for the insurance company, it just allows them to get back something to use as possibility to be repaired. Not at all a good thing for the consumer. Who want's a car back that been joy ridden and then stripped and then attempted to be pieced back together?

That looks like it was taken by kids. Dumb kids too. Taillights? left a wheel on? PLus why is a spare on? That might be a wrecked car. The bumper looks torn up. Pros now the value of the items they are stealing. They would have the entire car stripped and the most valuable pieces removed in less than an hour. Pros don't mess around. They'd have the doors removed, hood, trunk, wheels, brakes, and interior in a flash. If they had an extra two hours and usually they do, the entire engine and drive line yanked and the only thing dropped off and proabably burned or dropped in a river or lake would be the shell. They knwo they coudl get probably $15,000 parting out that stuff.
