Lancershop.com A-pillar gauge pods

Im sure everyone has seen the numerous threads request SOMEONE to make an inexpensive A-pillar gauge pod.

Well, after a long time, Lancershop.com posted on one of the other threads that they should have them for sale in one to two weeks.

I was dissapointed when i looked at their site, and found out that the pods would be in a black finish.

The Road Race pod was expensive, and a different color than the stock grey plastic, but at least both sides were the same color. That isn't to say that i liked the idea of having to buy two pieces instead of one, but i dont know how much i like the idea of having two different color pillars either.

One potential solution, which im sure someone will bring up, might be to simply paint over the piece to match the factory plastic. Unfortunately, what you get then is a piece that looks like the one Fireball is selling, that doesn't look too bad from far away, and is relatively color matched to the other parts of the interior, but is still different in color and texture from everything else.

I sure hope someone develops an A-pillar for the evo soon, that actually MATCHES the grey plastic, texture and all.

Why dont you just paint all the trim pieces the same color, then you don't have to worry about it.
I'm being serious.

Have you seen mine in person? I've been told it's VERY close. It has a finish similar to the other pillar, with speckles of dark gray in it.
