triple a pillar pods...which one to get?

Besides the carbon fiber A pilllar pods(too expensive) I was looking at lancershop.com for some triple A pillar pods. There seems to be 2 kinds of triple A pillar pods, one is from lancershop and the other is Autometer? I am leaning more towards the lancershop one since it has the matching interior color but without the tweeter cutout. That shouldnt be a problem since I can cut them my self. The shapes are quite different as well so not sure which one might be better for driving. Do any one of you guys have any of these tripae a pillar pods and do you recommend them? Are there other triple A pillar pods that you might know of?

OK, the lancsershop one is in my car and it's a nice piece but there is one major issue with it. GAUGE Positioning. THEY ARE WAY TO HIGH. To see the top gauge yo uhave to sit straight up. Not within eye view at all. If the 3 gauges were moved down 1.5- 2 inches it would be perfect.

I think the Lancershop one is nice. I just don't like to have to modify something like that when you are paying good money for it, although it isn't hard to do. Just don't understand why they didn't cut it when it was molded.

Derek: what kind of gauges are you planning to put in the car?
I'd suggest going with a dual A pillar instead of a triple one... the top gauge will be extremely difficult to read (well i guess it really depends on how tall you are but im only 5'8" so yea...) boost gauge and EGT will be my recommendation...
u might find oil temp, oil pressure, and A/F ratio useful as you put more mods in your car

I plan on getting the Defi D guage black color ones. Im 6 feet tall so I hope it wont be that difficult to read the top one. I guess it wont matter much as long as your not reading it constantly like the boost guage which will be placed closer to where I can see it better. I might as well get the triple pod since if you were to have a dual pod installed the extra one on top wouldnt hurt.

Does anybody know where to find a replacement triple pillar instead of the overlay kind, and what about triples that dont have a tweeter or placer for a tweeter to be cut out so the gauges can be lower?
