Help about hid kit?

Help about hid kit?

Has anybody installed the hid kit on their evo? If so, where did u put the little ballast?

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Ballast. Zip tie it out of the way.

The Ballast you mean!?!?!

You gotta find a place to mount it, if you can't mount it anywhere in your engine safely, then look around for a place where you can sit it on and zip tie it and try not to stuff it under wires and then zip tie it, haha..... i seen some people do that and wow, haha....sketchy!!

i mounted mine on the frame rail right behind the bumper fits perfect in there!

there are screw holes on the bottom of the headlight for the stock ballasts.

I mounted mine on the wheel well splash guards to stay away from metal and wires and any other electrical interferance

I 3M taped them to the splash gaurd, then zip tied around. Very clean and out of the way

i mounted mine right next to the headlight housing into the part of the engine bay that runs in front of the radiator, used some self tapping screws and havent had an issue yet
