so im gonna buy an evo 9 for the mivec head, bigger turbo, front lsd, and ayc or whatever the gravel, tarmac, snow traction button is called. i want a sunroof, big spoiler, and hid lights. im gonna keep the stock internals, stock turbo, but mod everything else. standalone ecu, port and polish, intercooler, turbo back exhaust, you know the drill. i want the cloth recaro seats and not the leather. do you think i should get an mr or gsr? im not going to touch the rs and whats the se?

forgot to add that i also want foglights.

 

Get a GSR if you want speed .... 5 speed tranny are better built then the 6 speed although i have a 6 speed myself. If your aiming for anything over 400whp 5 speed will sustain longer.

Evo IX interior i think already comes with half leather if u want the cloth since your my area let me know i can swap with you my interior is an evo 8 interior but i can swap.

As for all Evo IX comes with ACD Which is the gravel, tramac and snow traction. Sunroof good luck , Evo VIII and IX all come with an original Spoiler which i think is big enough.

IMO you should not do a standalone with stock internal. Pretty much reflashing the ECU with Rocket Rally in Squamish can do the work. can save you some $$$


Basically just read more info on this forum, I personally like the EVO IX doesn't matter to me if its GSR or MR; but personally i like the MR.

I agree with AJR coco if u plan to mod ur car deavy duty u might consider the GSR. the 8 MR comes with the ACD traction control also if u want the cloth seats or like AJR said just swap seats with an evo 8 owner u can make some cash. and the SE...dont know much about it other than it comes with nicer interior gunmetal bbs rims and other minor details not much diff. from the MR
